The Ritz Trio had the pleasure of performing on a gloriously sunny day at The Waterside Hotel, West Kilbride. This was the first time the Trio have played at the venue but already have enquiries for 2019 to play there again!
The Ritz Trio performed for the first time this week at a Dunglass Estate wedding at Cockburnspath, East Lothian.
The Ritz Trio are one of Scotland’s busiest bands specialising in proving background music for during drinks receptions and wedding ceremonies. Each year they will perform at over 50 weddings across the Country.
Prior to the drinks reception the Trio where joined my a violinist to provide a more tradition element to the wedding.
The ceremony was held in the 15th-century Gothic church, set in the heart of the Estate and is one of the finest examples of its period and design in Scotland. The building provided a wonderful acoustic for the music and was a very memorable setting for a wedding ceremony.
Following the ceremony the Ritz Trio moved outside to play their usual fun set of music for the champagne reception, which included some great swing numbers such as “Fly Me To he Moon” and a few pop numbers including “Isn’t She Lovely.”
When getting married at Dunglass you are able to have exclusive use of the Estate with charming yet contemporary accommodation in the grounds either at Dunglass House or one of the other cottages on the Estate. The team at Dunglass are also able to host a range of activities and events to keep guests entertained through the afternoon.

“Thank you for playing at our wedding on 20th May at Cameron House. The guests absolutely loved the music and the atmosphere at the drinks reception was amazing. We also really appreciate you being so flexible and staying on later than expected due to our traffic issues! I will be highly recommending you to anyone who will listen as you made our day that extra bit special!
