Logie Country House wedding – One of the Ritz Trio’s Favourite Places to Perform.

The Ritz Trio recently provided background music for Shannon and Jacob at their Logie Country House wedding.

It was fabulously happy and relaxed occasion and a great way to end a busy 2019 wedding season for the Ritz Trio which saw them play at over fifty weddings and numerous corporate events.

Apart from the great facilities, Logie Country House has very friendly and efficient staff who always make guests feel welcome and as performers the Trio are always made to feel part of the team for the day.

The Ritz Trio, who specialise in music for wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions have made many visits to Logie Country House wedding venue in recent years. When the weather is fine they usually play out in the courtyard opposite the House which provides a great acoustic for their foot tapping entertainment.

The Trio are very versatile and whilst they are often referred to as a jazz band, the repertoire is much wider than that and even includes some fun renditions of pop covers, sure to keep guests entertained during the drinks reception.

For clients wanting a more formal or traditional wedding ceremony the Trio often enlist the services of a violinist to play with them. The ceremony repertoire includes most of the popular wedding music choices such as Pachelbel Canon, A Thousand Years (Perri), All You Need Is Love and Everything (Buble).

Normally they would play whilst guests are arriving for the ceremony, then for brides entrance, for the signing and then finally for the recessional.

Following the ceremony the Trio are able to quite easily move from playing for the ceremony to either the enclosed Courtyard or Main House for the drinks reception.

The Ritz Trio have been playing together for over a decade and during this time they received great feedback from happy couples. Visit their Testimonials page HERE to read them.

Logie Country House General Information

Set at the foot of Bennachie on estate lands dating back to 1492, Logie Country House is one of our favourite wedding venues.

The new Aberdeen Bypass, which opened in 2019, makes getting to Logie Country House so much easier when travelling from the south – no need to across Aberdeen city centre anymore

The house provides extremely luxurious, relaxing, unpretentious, warm and comfortable well thought-out accommodation. With an indoor swimming pool, cinema room, two outside hot tubs, courtyard, a large ballroom and even its own private island.

We find when performing around at different weddings that smaller intimate weddings often have a more relaxed feel to them and Logie Country House is definately best suited to these smaller celebrations. The 15 bedroom Scottish Castle can accommodate 42 guests. The new purpose built ballroom can accommodate larger weddings and offers the venue much more flexibility.

Steeped in history, Logie Country House was originally a fortified Castle built in 1680 on estate lands dating back to 1492. The house was extended and modified in the seventeenth century and completely renovated in 2006 to give the beautiful, warm and cosy house you see today.
