The Ritz Trio – Scotland’s most successful band specialising in background music for weddings and special events. The Trio have been entertaining guests a the Hotel with their great music for over 10 years.

There are a number of options the Ritz Trio offer when providing daytime wedding entertainment at Brig O Doon.
The Trio are often asked to provide music for guests arrival for the ceremony and then for the brides arrival, the signing and the recessional.
We have a special selection of tunes ideal for this part of the day.
The Trio sometimes uses the services of a classical violinist who is able to play some of the more requested ceremony pieces such as Pachelbel Canon In D.
The Ritz Trio guitarist would normally accompany the violin on classical guitar. It is also possible to use a keyboard during the ceremony.
Brig o’ Doon House General Information
The Ritz Trio have enjoyed this venue as both guests and performers – one of the band members got married here recently!
The Brig o’ Doon, is a late medieval bridge situated near to the Hotel and is used as a romantic wedding photo setting by newly-weds.
The bridge was immortalised in Robert Burns’ famous poem ‘Tam o’ Shanter’. It’s partly due to this that the Hotel has gained the reputation of being one of Ayrshire’s and possibly Scotland’s most iconic and romantic, wedding venues.
This is a really nice space for sunny wedding drinks receptions. The band have also played for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the impressive banqueting hall which can cater for up to 180 guests.
