The Ritz Trio at Winton Castle Wedding Venue
Winton Castle is an historic wedding venue in East Lothian that blends castle, palace and the family home of Sir Francis and Lady Ogilvy. Both have been great supporters of the Ritz Trio and we have enjoyed many happy weddings there. We remember visiting the Castle nearly twenty years ago when the project to transform it got underway.
Today Winton Castle wedding venue is a romantic hidden gem surrounded by mature gardens, deep in tranquil countryside, just half an hour from Edinburgh. Designed for entertaining in the seventeenth century, the Castle has five exceptional, inter-connecting reception rooms which are ideal for wedding celebrations.
The Ritz Trio have been performing at Winton Castle wedding venue for over fifteen years. The group are well known faces on the Scottish weddings and events circuit performing at over 80 events each year.
There are a number of options the Ritz Trio are able to offer when providing daytime wedding entertainment at Winton Castle.
Wedding Ceremony At Winton Castle
The Ritz Trio have a specially selected repertoire ideal for ceremonies which sometimes uses the services of a classical violinist able to play some of the more frequently requested pieces.
Drinks Reception
Playing through the champagne reception within the grounds or one of the public rooms. The Trio particularly enjoy playing outside in the walled garden, which is both beautiful and sheltered – great acoustics for the music!
The Ritz Trio play music ranging from Rat Pack and swing to some fun arrangements of more popular tunes such as “Sway”, ” “My Guy” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” to name a few. The Trio are always happy to take requests!
