In addition to the Ritz Trio the group are able to offer a number of band line ups  ranging from Solo Guitar, a Duo comprising Sax and Guitar and a Violin and Guitar Duo.

A popular option is to use the services of our violinist for the ceremony with all or part of the Trio and following the ceremony the Ritz Trio play their normal set over the drinks reception. As they don’t have much equipment moving between locations is quick and easy!

During the drinks reception the Ritz Trio play music ranging from Swing and Rat Pack to some fun arrangements of a few more popular tunes such as “It Must Be Love, Love Love” “My Guy” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” to name a few, all played at a level to enable your guests to talk, shuffle and enjoy the day.

Most recent choices for weddings have included “Dream A Little Dream Of Me” “Highland Cathedral” and  “Pachelbel Canon in D – with a violin addition.  A happy couple recently had the theme from “Game Of Thrones” for the recessional!

Solo Guitar

Ritz Trio guitarist Marcus Ford is one of Scotland’s most accomplished solo guitarists and has played at some of the most prestigious venues in Scotland.Each year Marcus will perform at many weddings playing solo guitar.

The popularity of the guitar makes it the perfect wedding ceremony and reception instrument, atmospheric and romantic it creates the perfect ambiance for a wedding in Scotland. The equipment used is discreet and highly flexible meaning he is able to switch between rooms for example following on from the ceremony within no time at all he can be set up and playing over the drinks reception if required.

His repertoire ranges from the Beatles to Adele as well as most of the well known tunes from the jazz repertoire.
