The Ritz Trio holds a special connection to the Brig o’ Doon, having experienced its charm both as performers and guests – one of our own band members celebrated their wedding here! This iconic venue, steeped in history and romance, features the late medieval Brig o’ Doon bridge, immortalized in Robert Burns’ “Tam o’ Shanter,” providing a picturesque backdrop for wedding photos. The Brig o’ Doon’s reputation as one of Ayrshire’s, and perhaps Scotland’s, most romantic wedding venues is well-deserved. We’ve delighted guests with our music during sunny drinks receptions outdoors and within the impressive banqueting hall, which accommodates up to 180 guests.

For Your Drinks Reception
Following the wedding ceremony the band are able to quickly move to the drinks reception location either outside in the purpose build band stand or in the bar area.
The Ritz Trio play music ranging from Swing and Rat Pack to some fun arrangements of a few more popular tunes such as “It Must Be Love, Love Love” “My Guy” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” to name a few.
The band members are all professional musicians and each year the Ritz Trio will perform at over 50 weddings across Scotland and further afield.
