The Ritz Trio performed at a Kinblethmont House Wedding celebration recently.

Kinblethmont House is an imposing Victorian House set on Scotland’s sunny East Coast,  roughly 4 miles from Arbroath. This is the first time the Trio have performed at the venue and they hope it won’t be the last, as it was a wonderful afternoon! The house is surrounded by some lovely woodland walks which the guys from the band where able to enjoy before performing.

The House also has some history  as the first recorded human activity on Kinblethmont is a 3000 year old sun engraving on a stone that the Picts then adorned with their images 2000 years later. It stands in the atrium in Kinblethmont House.

The Drinks Reception

The wedding ceremony took place in the marquee following which the guests came out into the garden for the champagne reception accompanied by the wonderful sounds of this hugely entertaining and it must be said, very smart Trio!  The first song they played as the couple entered and as confetti rained down was “Isn’t She Lovely”. Later on in the afternoon some of the guests danced to a very laid back version of “Just The Way You Look Tonight”.

The Ritz Trio  offer music for both wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions, with the music providing a relaxing, swinging and often moving, backdrop to the day. Most recent choices for wedding ceremonies have included “Dream A Little Dream Of Me”, “Highland Cathedral” and  “Pachelbel Canon in D – with a violinist joining the Trio.  A happy couple recently had the theme from “Game Of Thrones” for the recessional!
